BALD ROCK CREEK TURTLE
Elseya sp

This turtle appears to be restricted to the Bald Rock Creek in the granite-belt border region of NSW and Queensland.

If so, it has the smallest distribution of Australian turtles that inhabit permanent water. It may be conspecific with Elseya bellii, or could prove to be a valid species.
